Special session and challenge proposers should be aware of the fact that the review process is the same as for all other submissions as far as assessed quality of papers is concerned.

The special session “Singing synthesis challenge Fill-in the gap” follows:

• Propose the challenge (fill-in the gap) and corresponding musical material, including examples, score and lyrics.
• Paper submission deadline March 23, 2016
• Collect the papers and sound examples and select the papers.
• Organize a voting procedure during the session, or during special spots at the conference.
• Each paper is presented according to Interspeech format.
• After paper presentations, a time slot is devoted to discussion of the results, and future works.
• After counting of votes, the winners of the Interspeech 2016 Singing Awards are announced.
• Possibly, according to the decision to be taken with Interspeech organizers, winners may play their song at the closing ceremony.
